何紀嵐 Eric Ho (He Jilan)

何紀嵐生於香港，成長在藝術之家，自幼受其父何百里先生薰陶，奠定其美學根基。他畢業於加拿大約克大學，獲純藝術榮譽學士學位，其後於香港理工大學取得設計管理碩士，並獲多倫多辛力加學院設計文憑及加拿大認可註冊設計師。其藝術語言以極簡主義演繹東方哲理，回歸黑白二色的純粹與深遠；在虛實相生、有無互映之間，他捕捉都市生活的內在節奏，將進退動靜的韻律凝練。作品既保有水墨的流動本質，又透過點、線、面的抽象構成與空間調度，突破傳統筆墨框架，賦予視覺全新的當代感。

尤為獨特的是，何紀嵐自創「遊絲破墨」技法，精準掌控乾濕筆觸，使墨色在紙上顯現剛柔交錯的豐富層次，為現今城市意象注入靈動而深邃的氣息。歷年創作《香港格式》《遊絲墨舞》《絲路行中》《板塊》及《深黑印象》等系列，更將剛柔對比推向極致，展現水墨前所未見的動感張力。

何紀嵐的作品廣獲國際拍賣市場青睞，屢現於佳士得、羅芙奧藝術集團及保利拍賣等頂尖拍場，並被全球私人藏家珍藏，多為訂製委託之作。

藝術創作之外，何紀嵐亦深耕香港藝術生態，累積逾二十年企業設計與品牌形象實戰經驗。他先後創辦「思無為軒」與「水墨弄堂」等藝術平台，積極策展推動當代水墨的跨界對話，並曾為自身及眾多國際藝術家策劃展覽。現任傳承愛慈善基金終身榮譽藝術發展顧問、海外中國美術家協會理事，以及香港美協會員，持續以實踐回饋本土藝術社群。

Eric Ho is a contemporary artist whose work embodies a dynamic synthesis of Eastern philosophy and Western expression. Born in Hong Kong and deeply influenced by his father, the renowned Lingnan School painter He Baili, Eric’s artistic journey is a lifelong exploration of cultural duality.

His formal training spans continents and disciplines. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Specialized Honours) from York University in Canada, he returned to Hong Kong to complete a Master’s in Design Management from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. This unique fusion of fine art practice and strategic design thinking continues to inform his creative approach.

Eric’s artistry is deliberately medium-agnostic, moving fluidly between oil, watercolour, sculpture, printmaking, photography, and the foundational Chinese arts of ink painting and calligraphy. His core practice, however, focuses on reinterpreting traditional Chinese ink painting through a contemporary lens. He masterfully employs its techniques to visualize philosophical concepts like Yin and Yang, creating works that are at once timeless and modern.

This distinctive voice has garnered significant international recognition. Eric’s paintings are sought after by collectors worldwide and have been featured in prestigious fine art auctions, including Christie’s, Ravenel International Art Group, and Poly Auction.

Beyond his studio practice, Eric is an active catalyst within the art community. With over two decades of experience in corporate marketing, design, and branding, he has founded several innovative art initiatives, including Gallery Article, Ohoconcept Fine Art, Ink Occasions, and the Art Bliss Coalition. Through these platforms, he has curated and organized numerous exhibitions, fostering dialogue and showcasing diverse artistic talents from Hong Kong and across the globe.

At its heart, Eric Ho’s work is a personal meditation on balance—between heritage and innovation, contemplation and expression, the enduring brushstroke and the modern moment.
